Frederic Township – New Zoning Ordinance

A new Zoning Ordinance regulating the development and use of land was adopted by the Frederic Township Board of Trustees on August 20, 2019, and replaces the previous Zoning Ordinance in its entirety. The full text of the new Zoning Ordinance is available at the Township Offices, online at www.frederictownship.org or by contacting William Johnson at 989-348-8778. The new Zoning Ordinance shall take effect on September 5, 2019. The new zoning ordinance includes rezoning blocks of adjacent parcels throughout the township from Deferred Development to Recreational-Forest and includes the creation of a Village Overlay District in the community of Frederic which includes rezoning blocks of parcels to Mixed Use District including the following individual parcels which are not adjacent to other areas proposed for rezoning:
